What will you learn?
The course focuses on the essential Czech language skills you need as a complete beginner:
- basic speaking and everyday conversation
- understanding simple words, phrases and instructions
- basic reading skills
- writing simple sentences and short messages
- essential grammar and vocabulary for everyday situations
- correct pronunciation and useful Czech phrases
From the very first lessons, you will learn how to use Czech in practical situations. You will practise introducing yourself, talking about your family and daily life, shopping, ordering food and drinks, asking simple questions, understanding numbers and prices, and communicating in other common everyday situations.
No previous knowledge of Czech is required. We start from the very beginning and gradually build your vocabulary, grammar and confidence in speaking.
Our lessons take place in small groups, allowing every student plenty of opportunities to practise, ask questions and receive individual support from the teacher.
